Infection 1, h-l 0

Oh gods, this virus is totally kicking my arse. Am wheezy, exhausted and drenched in sweat. Haven't left the house in 3 days except to go to the doctor (by car, because I couldn't breathe well enough to walk 10 minutes down the road). Today is my first day out of bed, and the only reason I got out of bed was to let it dry out because it's soaked with sweat. Can talk for maybe 3 minutes before I start coughing. Have generated an entire wastebin of dirty, snotty tissues. And the ear pain! My ears are producing vast quantities of thick orange earwax, and are entirely bunged up.

I feel terrible, because one of my students has her IB exam tomorrow, and I was supposed to be going to see her every day this week. But there really is absolutely no way I could go. As it is, I'm honestly looking at having to cancel everyone for the rest of this week. My immune system is working flat out and yet I'm still this ill. The likelihood is if I try to leave the house, I'll probably go down with pneumonia or something. My head feels like it's stuffed with wool, and I'm very bored, because I can't do anything. Reading hurts my eyes, and I don't have the concentration span to play games. Just want to be better so I can get back to work and stop feeling guilty :/

And just to add insult to injury, my bloody period started today. So I have a heavy period and period pain to go along with the aches and pains of the infection. OH JOY.
