I think I'm going to cry.

This fucking shitty fucking printer!!

I bought some labels yesterday to try to cut down the amount of work required to send out Christmas cards. I have found the correct label template in OpenOffice, and set them up.

When the printer prints on normal paper, the labels are all in the correct positions. When it prints on the labels, it prints way too near the top of the page, so they're totally out of alignment. WTF is it playing at?

I thought maybe the labels were too shiny so they don't feed properly or something like that, but noooo - on the second pass, they print correctly. But on the second pass they already have the misfed previous address on.

Yesterday, when I was getting ready for a already-stressful presentation, my printer decided it was going to be a bugger and start eating my paper. I STILL don't know what's wrong with it, but it seems to be pulling the paper into one of the gears and tearing it up, in turn screwing up the ink and creating big, inky messes across the page. I haven't even had it yet for over half a year >>

The cherry on top, though? I had 20 minutes before said presentation to stop by the University and print everything off, and... the printers wouldn't work. They were on, ready to go, but wouldn't register the fact that I'd hit "print" on my PC. First time anything like that EVER happened to me on the University network... Honestly, WTF is that? Did I unknowingly offend the Lord of printers or something? x.x
